As an online marketing company based out of Costa Rica, we are always interested when a large corporation makes a large change and this is one of them.

Taco Bell just released their new logo which according to their press release was to refresh their brand and coincides with the opening of their 7,000^th restaurant which just opened on the Las Vegas strip, home of casinos and sports betting.  This new flagship restaurant is supposed to be their “ultimate expression of the Taco Bell brand, and lifestyle.”

Now that you have seen their new logo, the question that begs to be answered is exactly what that expression and lifestyle is supposed to be.  This new logo has simplified the old one which was introduced to the public back in 1995.

The Bloom

We have just finished with two projects which are: Christian Retreat Resorts and The Bloom which are two websites that are more or less by invitation only at the moment for churches and Christian Associations.

Both websites are tailored to provide a retreat for Churches and Christian groups with option to rent or buy cabins and properties.

In terms of difficulty level, the design was at a medium level and the programming was light except for one item where the owner wanted some of the users to have the ability to add articles and upload images.

BlindMonkeyMedia has just started a new experimental program called, free online marketing services for donations. This new service is meant to help out people in Costa Rica that are unemployed, students or people wanting to learn about the marketing industry.

We started this free online marketing service because we were getting an influx of emails from people that were looking for a job or an internship.

No offense to anyone, but we were hearing a lot of sob stories about how difficult it was to find a job in the online marketing industry due to the current economy.

Many companies are now choosing to either ad internet sales as part of their repertoir or simply close all of their stores and only sell products on the internet.

The reasons for businesses going that route are varied from the company going bankrupt and closing all of its physical locations, making it a part of their business plan to increase their sales revenue or because its just cheaper then having a physical store.

For example, I recently read an article on MSN News about Woolworths being revived from the grave by its new owners by selling its products on the internet. That is a classic case which perhaps could have been avoided or at least delayed had it had a larger presence on the internet to start with...

When we first created our online marketing company, we made our website in a matter of days, which is why it was never very attractive and did not get us high conversion rates. We were in need of a website at the time, and due to the large number of clients, we were not able to create a high quality website.

Now, that we have hired new people to help us with our clients, we are finally able to work on redesigning our website to for a higher visitor-to-client conversion rate.
