If you’ve been to Las Vegas lately (I went there in August for my honeymoon), then you know how bad the casino industry is doing right now. It’s the same in Atlantic City, and now lawmakers there are trying to overturn the online gambling ban in the courts.

The lawsuit seeks to allow all 50 states legal access to online gaming, which would of course be subject to tax.

Those close to the online gaming industry know that online sports betting, as well as online poker and online casino games, would bring in huge revenues to the US government, especially in a time when government is trying new raise to improve revenue.

While not expected to change, hopefully this lawsuit will remind people what type of revenue source online gaming is...

It’s been a good week for us here at BlindMonkeyMedia, with our all of our hard work beginning to show. Our website got a new look this week, and while it’s not 100% finished yet, we are proud of the early results and are even more motivated now to make this company successful.

When I hang out with my friends or visit family, I always get the same reaction, “You get to work from home? You’re so lucky!”

Well, yes, I suppose I am. Living in Cleveland, Ohio, there are hundreds of reasons why working from the comforts of my own home would be considered “lucky” by most accounts. Many of those reasons involve the weather. Plus, I don’t have to deal with travel, office politics or sick days. Did I mention the weather?

But at the same time it is still work, especially working for a new company (Blind Monkey Media). I don’t lounge around watching TV all day, I sit in front of my computer like any other white-collar worker and put in my time. And that is where the two disadvantages of working from home lies: boredom and loneliness...

BlindMonkeyMedia started out as an idea by a group of very talented individuals who excelled continuously in their chosen field of expertise. As any start up company, our talent got us very far in our respective job but we got tired of working for another company. The red tape, the office policies, and the lack of care for customers just didn´t fit what we were looking to build and create.

We wanted to work for a simple company where customers asked for something and if it was within our power we would do it. No hassle just straight business with excellent customer care.
